Hana Bank Achieves Solid Performance in 2024,
Double-digit Growth in Net Income

Jakarta, April 29, 2025 – PT Bank KEB Hana Indonesia (Hana Bank) concluded the year 2024 with solid financial performance. Net profit was recorded to grow by 14.61% year-on-year (yoy) to Rp519.43 billion, making Hana Bank the South Korean bank operating in Indonesia with the highest net profit in 2024. This achievement reflects the success of the company's strategy in driving product and service innovation, as well as continuously strengthening digital banking services.

This net profit growth was primarily driven by net interest income, which experienced an increase of 4.07% yoy to Rp1.79 trillion, as well as fee-based income primarily from the wealth management business. On the other hand, Hana Bank also successfully managed its operational expenses efficiently, thus maintaining profit growth.

Hana Bank Business Director, Geoffry Nugraha, said, "The achievement of net interest income is inseparable from the significant credit growth across all segments, both corporate, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), and consumer, with the largest contribution coming from the corporate segment."

Throughout 2024, Hana Bank's total loan disbursement reached Rp37.12 trillion, an increase of 8.16% yoy. Credit quality also improved, reflected in a non-performing loan (NPL) ratio of 0.76%, lower than the 0.86% NPL in 2023.

Meanwhile, third-party funds reached Rp26.93 trillion, growing by 2.67% yoy. This increase was also supported by Hana Bank's efforts in gathering third-party funds through digital banking services, LINE Bank by Hana Bank (LINE Bank), in line with the digitalization trend.

In line with its vision of "Being lifelong partner by providing integrated financial solutions and creating values for our stakeholders," Hana Bank presented new products and services for customers during 2024, including sharia-based custodian services, becoming an Appointed Cross Currency Dealer (ACCD) Bank Indonesia to facilitate the Rupiah-Won Local Currency Transactions (LCT), and Single Investor Identification (SID) mutual fund registration through MyHana Mobile Banking.

Strengthening Digital Services

Hana Bank also continues to strengthen the development of digital banking services through LINE Bank. By the end of 2024, LINE Bank had reached 1.2 million customers, a significant increase of 44% from the previous year.

LINE Bank has launched various initiatives to present a different digital banking experience, such as the Unsecured Credit and Quick Credit features, the issuance of contactless debit cards, the EZCard to facilitate customers' transportation and transactions in South Korea, and together with Hana Bank launched a time deposit product Goal Savings.
