Hana Bank Performance Overview First Semester of 2025

Jakarta, August 6, 2025 – Amid ongoing economic uncertainty, PT Bank KEB Hana Indonesia (Hana Bank) posted solid performance throughout the first half of 2025. The Bank’s net profit grew by 27% year-on-year (yoy) to Rp330.33 billion, primarily driven by a 3% increase in net interest income to Rp944.30 billion.

Hana Bank’s intermediation performance also showed a positive trend. Loan disbursement rose 10% yoy to Rp39.73 trillion, largely driven by the corporate segment, while third party funds increased by 9% to Rp27.71 trillion. These figures exceeded the national banking industry’s loan and third party funds growth during the first half of 2025, which stood at 7.77% and 6.96%, respectively.

“This achievement reflects Hana Bank’s ongoing commitment to sustainable growth by providing relevant and customer-centric financial solutions amid global economic dynamics,” said Hana Bank President Director, Ko Yung Ryul.
Hana Bank maintained strong credit quality in the first half of  2025, as reflected by gross and net non-performing loan (NPL) ratios of 0.73% and 0.26%, respectively—significantly lower than the industry average of 2.22% for gross NPL and 0.84% for net NPL.

Meanwhile, Hana Bank’s Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) remained strong at 26.88%, exceeding the industry average of 25.79%, signaling sufficient capital to support expansion.

Throughout the first half of 2025, Hana Bank introduced savings products aligned with current economic conditions, such as Goal Savings and Flexi Deposit. The Bank also expanded customers’ investment options by becoming a mutual fund distribution partner with PT BNP Paribas Asset Management and PT Syailendra Capital, and launched a customer loyalty program Spend4Win.

On the social responsibility front, Hana Bank consistently demonstrated its commitment through educational scholarships, Ramadan donations, and blood donation drives programs.
